These simple yet stylish gold tone earrings, date back to the 1960's and are in perfect unworn condition.  They have a screw backing with the trademark simple chic design setting, which is very typical of this designer.  Signed Napier.

DESIGNER HISTORY - The NAPIER Company began in 1875, under the name 'Whitney and Rice' before finally taking the name by which it is now known, The Napier Company, in 1922.   From 1922 until the company's sale in 1980, the jewellery produced beared the name 'Napier' as its trademark.  Napier jewellery is notable for its simple, modern, geometric designs.  In some pieces, the metalwork bears resemblance to Mexican and Scandinavian designs.
